The shipping company has set a date for the launch of one of its most ambitious projects: Rocket Man: A Celebration of Elton John It will arrive aboard the Norwegian Luna with a planned premiere in March 2026, a musical tribute built with licensed audiovisual material from the British artist and a large-format stage production.

With a science fiction spirit, HIKO combines 3D mapping, multisensory projection and an exclusive original soundtrack by NCL to transport the audience to a futuristic universe.
The show adds four elite acrobats and introduces for the first time an original character, HIKO, who interacts with passengers beyond the theater, extending the experience to different areas of the ship.

The schedule is rounded out with two deck parties, Island Nights and Latin LIVE, plus a "First Night" cruise kickoff and a Luna Theater & Club convertible into three-story mega-disco with a wide track, interactive lamp and state-of-the-art lighting.

Norwegian Luna schedule and itineraries
The Elton John and HIKO tribute shows premiere in March 2026From April 2026, the Norwegian Luna will operate seven-day itineraries through the Western Caribbean with stops in Roatán (Honduras), Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico) and Harvest Caye (Belize).
There will also be routes with stops in Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), Tortola (British Virgin Islands), St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands) and Great Stirrup Cay (Bahamas), where it will open the nearly 2,4-hectare Great Tides Waterpark, with 19 slides, cliff jumpsdynamic river, swim-up bars, heated pool and extended cabanas.
Between April and October 2027, the ship will offer voyages of four and seven nights in Bermuda from New York, with overnight stays to enjoy pink sand beaches and maritime activities.

The new releases originate from NCL's Creative Studios in Tampa and feature a team with credentials from Super Bowl Halftime, Cirque du Soleil and global tours: choreographer and creative director Katy Tate, Emmy winner Tabitha D'umo, set designer Kley Tarcitano and costume designer Sky Switser, among others.
