Followers of the Star Treck saga, the so-called Trekkies, have already designed their own cruise, following the idea of the series and movie themed cruises, of which we have already spoken on other occasions, and which at the moment seem to be a reef for shipping companies.
This themed cruise for Trekkies, there's only room for 2.200 people, will leave on January 9, 2017 from Miami, and you can now book your ticket online, or by asking at your travel agency. The crossing will take place on the Norwegian Pearl of the multinational Norwegian Cruises.
The reason for the cruise is that in 2017 it will be 50 years since the series was premiered for the first time, and Entertainment Cruise Productions has decided to offer Star Treck fans the opportunity to share 6 days and 6 nights of a trip, with stops in Mexico and the Bahamas, commanded by the famous William Shatner, who plays Captain Kirk.
In addition to Captain Kirk will be on board Marina Sirtis, Denise Crosby and Jonathan Frakes, actors from Star Trek: The Next Generation; Roberto Picardo, from Star Trek: Voyager; James Darren from Star Trek: Deeep Space Nine; and John de Lancie, known as Q on the show.
The music for this adventure will be Enterprise Blues Band formed by Vaughn Armstrong, Steve Rankin and Casey Biggs who also appear in some chapters of the series.
Different activities inspired by Star Treck have also been prepared such as Holodeck Nights, Q Masked Ball, movie screenings or having a drink at the 602 Club.
