One, called Surfer, lets you browse your favorite social networks, surf the web, and send emails to family, friends, or colleagues. The other allows you to share videos and watch your favorite sports games at maximum streaming speed. You can enjoy both options in your cabin and in the common areas. If you purchase the Wi-Fi service when booking your flight, you'll typically receive an additional 20% data allowance.
Costa Cruises offers virtually the same Wi-Fi connectivity options, but adds the possibility of doing so via onboard computers, in case you want to completely disconnect and not even bring your smartphone.
All of this I'm telling you is for ocean cruises; let's say on a trip between Barcelona and Ibiza you'll be able to connect with your company, and on river cruises, particularly in Europe, you'll have Wi-Fi on board throughout the journey.
