As of March 2016 the Ocean Princess will be renamed Oceania Sirena, and will join the fleet of the Oceania Cruises shipping company, which belongs to the Norwegian Cruise Line group. As a maiden voyage, an unforgettable 14-day cruise is offered, departing from Barcelona and arriving at the port of Venice. The departure is planned April 27 in one of the most beautiful and luxurious ships of the current Princess Cruises.

Some Mediterranean cities where this ship will call are: Marseille, Monte Carlo, Saint-Tropez, Portoferraio, Rome, Positano, Taormina, La Valleta, Kotor, Split, Koper and Venice. Reservations for this cruise can now be made.

The renovations to the Ocean Princess to become the Oceania Sirena will be carried out in the shipyards of the French city of Marseille. The Sirena will be a boat with capacity for 684 tourists that will be distinguished by its quality of service, its privacy, its careful gastronomy and its elegant and sophisticated spaces.

Oceania Cruises has been a pioneer in offering overnight stays in port for your cruise passengers, in such a way that it provides a greater knowledge and experience of the port of call. We can find this type of stopover in Venice, Istanbul or Saint Petersburg. Today the environment on board Oceania ships is elegant, yet informal, similar to a Social Club, following the trend of avoiding long suits and tuxedos to provide greater comfort.

The current Ocean Princess is a 15-year-old ship originally designed for the now defunct Renaissance Cruises shipping line. And it has three twins, the Insignia, Regata and Nautica (also ex Renaissance).
