Cruise on Lake Titicaca, pure energy and magic

Titicaca lake

One of the places, from my point of view, with more energy and magic through which you can take a cruise is the Lake Titicaca, in Bolivia, the highest navigable lake in the world. If you also have the opportunity to spend New Year's Eve there, I can assure you that everything that happens next year will be for the better.

Right now there is a scheduled cruise, departing on December 31, for two days and one night on Lake Titicaca. From the Island of the Sun, you will go to Copacabana, to the riverside town of the lake, not to the Brazilian beach, where dinner and the New Year's Eve party will be held, which includes party favors and a toast at midnight.

Copacabana, is the Spanishization of the name of the pre-Columbian Andean deity Copakawana, which is the equivalent of the Greek goddess Aphrodite or the Roman Venus. Continuing with the magic, the Copakawana court lived in the lake and was composed of Umantuus, men and women half fish, who are represented in ceramics and in Catholic temples, who were syncretized with the native culture during the conquest, and who They can be seen in various places in the highlands surrounding Lake Titicaca.

The city is built between the Calvario and Niño Calvario (or Kesanani) hills, and its population is close to 6.000 inhabitants.

The island of the Sun that you can visit on the cruise is populated by indigenous people of Quechua and Aymara origin, dedicated to agriculture, tourism, crafts and pastoralism. In your tour around the island you can see several important archaeological remains, among which I highlight the Sacred Rock or Rock of the Origins, According to the chronicles, it was the place from which Manco Cápac and Mama Ocllo left to found the city of Cuzco.

If you have the possibility to travel to Bolivia, the landless country, and take a cruise on Lake Titicaca, I think you can feel like one of the luckiest people on the planet ... or at least in your country.
