Holy Land, where spirituality and modernity mix

Holy Land

Discovering the hidden treasures of the Middle East is one of the ideas when embarking on a cruise through Holy Land, a mythical journey bringing together historical destinations and legendary cities. On your way, churches will be interspersed with mosques and synagogues, and peaceful shrines will be surrounded by bustling bazaars.

In these lines we offer you a model crossing, but this does not mean that it is the only one. Come to your travel agency or check online what other options, by price and duration you have.

For example, we consider that the ideal is to enjoy this cruise through the Holy Land at least for 12 days and 11 nights, to be able to admire great landscapes. And the average price, more or less, is about 1.000 euros per person with everything included. On the Royal Caribbean page I have found about 20 cruise proposals.

Whichever trip you choose, some of the places you can't miss on a cruise to the Holy Land are Haifa, and Ashdod, both in Israel.

Haifa is a city located on the slopes of Mount Carmel, with numerous churches, mosques and synagogues. The most popular place is the Baha'i temple. On the outskirts of Haifa you'll find the medieval port of Acre, the only Crusader city of which remains today.

Another mandatory stopover is the one that will take you to Ashdod one of the oldest in the world. Yet now it is a modern and well-organized destination, welcoming mix of ancient history, cosmopolitan port city and natural diversions. You can visit the permanent archaeological exhibit at the Korin Maman Museum, or explore artistic expressions in the thirteen exhibition rooms at the Ashdod Museum of Art.
