Reforms and improvement of experiences in the MS Westerdam

Almost a month ago, the ship MS Westerdam of the Holland America Line shipping company left the shipyard in Fincatieri in Palermo, Italy, where his interior renovation has been completed. At this moment the ship is still sailing through the Mediterranean, so if you want to see these news in situ, you still have time.

Some of these reforms to which the MS Westerdam include new public spaces and services such as the Explorations Central, or EXC, and Rijksmuseum at sea, which I detail below.

Holland America Line is associated with the Rijksmuseum - the Museum of the Netherlands in Amsterdam - hence in the MS Westerdam, reproductions of some of the masterpieces that that museum are exhibited, found in this museum, in addition to viewing videos about the museum and its collections.

On the other hand, referring to The EXC experience or programming is a combination of different tools so that passengers have a greater and better immersion in the destinations when they arrive at them. This EXC programming includes a complete EXC team to participate with guests, EXC Tours, EXC destination guides, EXC Canal and EXC Theater.

As for the entertainment news guests have more entertainment options with the arrival of the Lincoln Center Stage, chamber music, and Billboard Onboard, two pianists who perform shows at the bar. And speaking of bars, the Gallery Bar serves an exclusive cocktail menu created by famous bartender Dale DeGroff.

Ya focusing on the renovations done on board, the suites have been updated and include a new USB socket at the head of the bed, LED lights, the bathrooms have also been updated. The renovation includes updates to the Greenhouse Spa and Salon, the Club HAL and The Loft youth areas and the new Holland America Line logo on the fireplaces.

Also 25 cabins were added to MS Westerdam increasing its capacity to 1.964 tourists.
