Little by little we have been getting to know some of the details of the Symphony of the Seas, which in 2018, when it launches that summer will be the largest cruise ship in the world. Have I ever given details of the boat, we know they are more than 360 meters long and weighing no more and no less than 230.000 gross tons.
Well, now we know, in addition to its 5.500 people who can be housed in it, families will be able to enjoy what they have called a family suite that even has a slide, although I would speak more of a space for fun, and that is private.
One of the novelties of the Symphony of the Seas is its family suite, a room larger than a conventional home. In this room the families and in the same room there is a unique and exclusive place for children. This space is an interactive suite with two floors, the one above is for the smallest, with a dimension of 125 square meters.
From the upper floor you will access the ground floor through a slide and from there everything is fun. A Lego wall has been designed for climbing, an air-hockey table and other more hidden spaces and corners.
If the family wants to get together and have fun they will have a 3D movie theater with movies, video games and a popcorn machine.
They have not told us the price of this family suite yet, but what we can know is that The Symphony of the Seas will be there next summer, making a tour of the Mediterranean and will reach the ports of Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. When autumn reaches the Mediterranean, this immense ship will change its waters and from November it will sail through the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
