The first images of the Titanic II are published

Already in August of last year I dedicated an article to the replicas of the Titanic that are being built in China, yes you have read correctly, the replicas and they are two almost exact copies of the mythical ocean liner. You have all the information here As I was saying, we already talked about these replicas in 2015, and Now the first images of this new Titanic are published, which it will call Titanic II and which will begin to sail in 2018.

The project It is a personal bet of the owner of the luxury shipping company Blue Star Line, the billionaire Clive Palmer, who began to forge his dream in 2012.

The first voyage this Titanic II is scheduled to take is from Jiangsu in China to Dubai, And do not panic those who have in mind that first voyage of the Titanic of 1912, because this boat has all the security measures, as satellite control and digital navigation systems… just in case, this modern Titanic will have lifeboats and lifeguards for all passengers and crew.

The ocean liner, has a capacity of 2.400 passengersIt is almost 270 meters long and 53 high, and will reach a speed of 24 knots.

For the maiden voyage already there are people willing to pay up to 640.000 pounds sterling, we are talking about more than 830.000 euros, to access the first class of this cruise. As at the beginning of the century, there will be first, second and third class passengers, but the prices of all the categories have not yet come out.

Everything wants to be so faithful that the dining room of the first class of the Titanic II, of which we have seen photos and now it is being made, will be exactly the same as that of the first Titanic, It will be preserved until the way in which the diners were distributed. The smoking room in this first and the Parisien cafe are also built identically.

A detail that yes it has had to change are the walls of the first class cabins, that previously had oak and walnut wood panels, but now, for security reasons, they cannot be in these noble woods, but they will imitate them.
