The biggest Northern Europe Cruise Industry Fair and one of the usual appointments in the sector, the Seatrade Europe Fair 2015 the past began to be celebrated September 8 in the German city of Hamburg. In just two days, almost 250 exhibitors from more than 40 different countries.
During the days of celebration of the Seatrade Europe 2015 took place a series of conferences with more than 60 speakers from the cruise sector, in parallel to the meetings between port technicians and managers of cruise companies.
At present, more than 420 cruise ships sail around the world and until 2018 the construction of 29 new ships is expected in the European shipyards, with an investment volume of 16.000 million euros.
Ports of Spain participated in it with the institutional stand that had as its motto Blue Carpert: Delve into Spain on the blue carpet. With the proposal, which has been working since 2013, the image of Spain has been enhanced from the point of view of improving port facilities, and the cultural and tourist offer. The Spanish city that has the record visits in 2014 is Barcelona, 2,6 million people registered.
Among the themes of the papers the importance of having a international Airport to get a greater influx of tourists.
