Continuing with the idea of knowing cities from their port or from the river that you cross them through a cruise, we have already talked about Paris, and Prague, now I want to take you to Canada, to the city of Vancouver, so that you have a beautiful and unique view of this city through the interior of the port or (and I recommend this option) to get to the natural reserve of Indian Arm.
The Harbor Cruises company offers different cruises and tours, you can even see the sunset while dining on board.
The basis of the cruises that go through the port of Vancouver are in the East area, near Stanley Park, at the North end of Denman Street. You can get there by walking along the boardwalk, the Coal Seawalk, or Paseo del Carbón.
There is a tour that will take you through Inner City Harbor to Burrard Inlet, this lasts about an hour. On the boat you can have different explanations of what is seen, so you will see the skyline of the city, and places such as Canada Place or the Vancouver Lookout.
You will also have the opportunity to pass through the busy commercial docks, where you can see the ships loading and unloading containers and then you will see the North Shore, with fantastic views of Grouse Mountain and other surrounding mountains. Looking towards the South Bank, there is the Lions Gate Bridge, and Stanley Park as well as good views of downtown Vancouver.
